Restaurant Drongo

Restaurant Drongo is an Organic restaurant offering exclusive farm products for the table menu. Most of the ingredients are freshly collected from the organic garden of the resort. Local farmhouse and suppliers within the radius of 60 miles delivering fresh more fresh products as well. Local dishes made from locally grown/procured ingredients are served in the resort. Drongo also offers seasonal fruits and other tropical delicacies in the menu.

Drongo are insectivorous birds are found in usually open forests or bush, it seens in
the nearby areas of the resort. Prey is pursued in an acrobatic display, and is caught in the drongo's slightly hooked bill. Drongo then returns to its perch to eat its victim. They are are black or dark grey in colour, sometimes with metallic tints. Asian species of Drongos have elaborate tail decorations. They have short legs and sit very upright whilst perched, like a shrike. Racket-tailed Drongos are the mimicry artists among birds. They flycatch or take prey from the ground. They lay two to four eggs in a nest high in a tree. Both sexes incubate the eggs and care for the young. Drongos are aggressive and fearless birds. Drongos will attack much larger species if their nest or young are threatened. drongos are a family of small passerine birds of the Old World tropics. Drongos prefer wet forests, but can also be found in other woodlands, mangroves and parks. They are often seen either singly or in pairs. Drongos are migratory birds. The young drongos probably pick up the skill by watching adults.

Herbs and plants used in the kitchen are grown in the Resorts’s organic gardens.
Here we have a wonderfull organic garden, from there fresh fruits & vetables are collecting for cooking. The use of alternative material such as linen made bags rather than a plastic bag is encouraged.
